早稻田大学（Waseda University），简称早大，是一所位于东京都新宿区的私立大学，亦是世界著名综合研究型学府。
在1882年，伴随着“学问要独立”的精神，日本前内阁总理大臣（首相）大隈重信创立了早稻田大学。作为一所极负盛名的世界顶尖大学，早大科研实力强劲，是亚洲地区最具知名度的学校之一。
早稻田大学亦是日本超级国际化大学计划TOP顶尖校（A类），环太平洋大学联盟，东京六大学等项目的成员之一。
在建校139年的时间里，早稻田大学为日本以及国际社会培养了很多人才。其中包括7位日本首相，近三分之一国会议员，因此早大也被称为“政治家的摇篮”。
同时也包括李大钊，陈独秀等中国革命先驱，以及众多国内外企业家以及文学家。
在国际排名上，早大2020年QS大学世界排名第196位，2021年则上升到第189位，位列日本私立大学第一。
在学术方面，早大十分重视与国际大学的合作，也是中国留学生最多的日本学府之一。早稻田大学共有13个学部，20个研究科，以及10个学术院。其中大部分都有英文项目（SGU项目）可供选择，即使不会日语，也可以考入日本名校。
